Nick Goodwin Guitars and Vocals

Nick Goodwin was born in London in 1990, but has lived in Oxfordshire for most of his life. He got his first guitar for his 12th birthday and hasn't looked back (or up) since. Although he mainly plays electric, he also keeps up his classical playing and reached Grade 8 standard within three years of starting.

Nick enjoys a wide range of music, from classical composers such as Tarrega through rock/blues classics like Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan through to The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Radiohead. He's a fan of traditional and modern country music - particular favourites include Hank Williams, Doc Watson, Brad Paisley (whose 'Nervous Breakdown' is Nick's party piece) and Alan Jackson.

Nick plays Fender Telecaster and Stratocaster guitars into a Dr. Z Carmen Ghia combo. The Telecaster has had a B-bender mechanism fitted by Brian Friend in California.
